There is no doubt that the world of esports is growing and that there are a lot of gamers out there that can now make a living from playing games professionally. Turtle Entertainment and Calibur11 have teamed up to create some great opportunities for gamers in Europe.

Until now the esports scene is dominated by Starcraft 2, but this partnership aims to promote Fifa 11 to Call of Duty Black Ops.

Throughout May and June Calibur11 will be running tournaments and offering prizes of some amazing gaming gear. The tournaments will be held by Consoles Sports League (CSL), which is owned by Turtle Entertainment.

IGN Launch the IGN Pro League

IGN has just introduced the IGN Pro League. The first season of the IPL is an invitational tournament to showcase what we can provide to you, the viewer, as well as serving as a test run for us for all of our new production and operations mechanisms. 16 players representing 9 different North American based clans will be competing for a prize pool of ,000 and 4 automatic qualifier spots for IPL Season 2!
