Paper Toss iPhone Game Makes Developers over $500,000
Some people find it hard to believe that there is a huge amount of money in developing great iPhone applications. Backflip Studios are the latest to announce how much they have been making from their Paper Toss iPhone game. Develop report the figure, which CEO Julian Farror claims is coming from “mobile ads” alone (0,000 per month).
Their games, which have seen installations on over 45 million iOS devices, are played by over 15 million unique users per month. This generates hundreds of millions of ad impressions, which results in this solid turnover amount.
Casual games are on the rise and this is for Facebook, Myspace, iPhone Apps, Android Apps and more platforms. If you have a great casual game idea, its definitely worth trying to develop it, cause it could really pay off in the long run.
